Keywords

The author(s) include a minimum of 4-6 keywords, listed after the abstract. Keywords should be as specific as possible to the research theme of the article.

Article Size

Manuscripts should normally not exceed 5,000 – 5,500 words, including bibliography.

Preparing the Manuscript

The contributors, at the point of submitting their paper or the revised version of the same, must send the manuscript in Word format. Although the papers need not follow a harmonized template, the sections may by numbered and clearly defined. For example, a tentative format is enclosed:

  • Introduction
  • Literature Survey
    1. Literature on.. (if applicable)
    1. Literature on..(if applicable)
    1. Gaps in Literature and Research Questions
  • Data and Methodology
  • Analysis
  • Results
  • Conclusion

A research paper submitted to the journal is of course free to adopt a format, best suitable for the research context.

General Guidelines:

  • Articles should be written in MS Word, Times New Roman font 12 with 1.5 line spacing and should be submitted only in soft copy to wisdomspeaks2016@gmail.com.
  • Endnotes should be used instead of footnotes and should be numbered serially using standard figures (e.g., 1, 2, 3). The notes should be linked to the note cues within the text. The purpose of the notes is to elaborate an issue that is already made in the main text, not to merely mention a citation.
  • The spellings used should be British (UK), with ‘s’ variant, e.g., globalisation instead of globalization, labour instead of labor.
  • The contributors are requested to use single quotes throughout, while double quotes may only be used within the single quotes. Spellings of words in quotations drawn from other published sources should not be changed. Quotations of 50 words or more should be placed in a separate paragraph clearly demarked from main text. Direct quotations from published materials need to accompany the corresponding page number.
  • Use of italics should be minimized. For non-English and uncommon words and phrases, italics may be used throughout the text, and the meaning of such expressions should be given in parenthesis just after the word appears for the first time.
  • Use ‘per cent’ instead of % in the text. In tables, graphs, etc., % can be used.
  • Specific dates should be marked in the form 22 November 1980. In addition, decades should be referred to as ‘twentieth century’, ‘1980s’.
  • Ibid should not be used.
  • Number ranges should not be truncated, for example, 2017–2018.
  • Tables and figures need to be indicated clearly by numbers (e.g., “see Table 1”), not by their location (e.g, “see Table below”). Present each table and figure on a separate sheet of paper, gathering them together at the end of Title
  • Figures supplied in colour will appear in colour online. In print copy, the diagram will appear in black and white.
  • The title of the submitted manuscript should be concise, informative, and explicit and appropriately reflect the contents.
